Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra is the most popular chariot festival across the world. On this day Lord Jagannath, his elder brother Balabhadra and his lovely sister Subhadra visit his mausi place every year on three majestic chariots with a lot of great ritual which starts from the Jagannath Temple puri. It is famously Known as "Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra"or "World Famous Car Festival", which is followed by millions of devotees all over the world. This year Rath Yatra held on 23rd june 2020 and return yatra held on 1st July 2020.
Due to the wake of Coronavirus Pandemic, this year rath yatra and bahuda yatra held without devotees. Puri District administration has declared a curfew in the district from 10pm of June 30 to 10pm on July 2 for smooth conduct of Bahuda Yatra of the Holy Trinity.
